@notimminent is an absolute blessing, every day I wonder what I did to deserve having somebody like Shannon in my life. Not only is she one of the most talented writers I've had the pleasure of writing with with how many layers she's added to Emma (making her even better than the writers of Bates Motel ever could), she's one of the sweetest, strongest, talented, and most beautiful people (inside and out) I've ever met.

         words   pierce   through   her   defences,   as   if   the   walls   she’s   erected   around   her   heart   are   made   out   of   foam.   he’s   good   at   this   ---------   gauging   her   weak   spots,   voicing   out   loud   all   the   things   she’s   far   too   afraid   to   even   think   about.   earlier   in   their   .  .  .   relationship,   such   statements   would   have   her   flinch   back   like   burnt.   now,   she’s   trying   to   roll   with   the   punches.   deceptively   small   hands   smooth   out   the   blanket   over   cassie’s   sleeping   form,   story   book   laid   open   between   them,   before   she   gives   scott   a   small   smile.   an   eyebrow   raises,   a   challenge,   expression   open   and   soft   and   vulnerable.         “   wanna   give   cassie   a   little   sibling   ??   ”
