Playing Durge in act 2 making the failed attempts at redeming Ketheric is really funny if you bank on the idea that Ketheric fucking hated Durge before and Durge did everything in their power to annoy him. Imagine your least favourite coworker comes back from the dead and starts talking about 'redemption'. Like this must be batshit from Ketheric's perspective

When you play the game as intended, this is what Ketheric says when you finally confront him
(YOU! What have you done?! What have you done to me?!)
And you get to reply to him immediately
However, if you're choosing violence and perma aggro Moonrise in that first throne room scene, Ketheric asks you what you've done to him
And then adds this
(You desecrate my halls. Kill my faithful. What heresy twists inside you?!)
He's going full on "what the fuck is wrong with you, mate?"
Given that he's looking at Durge, he really should know better
Ketheric Thorm is dead.
A serious question: Thisobald Thorm calls Ketheric his father. We never get to know his true relation to Ketheric and his immediate family - same as Gerringothe's and Malus'. Could it be that at least Thisobald was an unloved and neglected son (because I intend to write him as Ketheric's unloved and neglected son)?
As for Gettingothe and Malus, there's just as much space for imagination and zero clarity, but none of them refers to Ketheric as "father".
UPD: folks in comments already specified that Malus is Ketheric's uncle. A family of toxic lunatics... how Isobel turned out to have a healthy, if traumatized, personality is beyond me.
