Day 11 : One Small Step for Mankind, One Giant Leap for Me
Something extraordinary happened today. I changed my destiny!
Well, it was perhaps not so extraordinary. Several days ago, I found out how awful I was at jumping. We tried to take these beautiful pictures where we feel like flying. It's at this point that the evidence of my incompetence appeared to us. I was as able to fly as a chicken, actually maybe more like an ostrich. Although this last one run pretty fast. Well, I am now able to jump and feel like flying in the mountains of Costa Rica. Congratulations to me!
One of my hypotheses is that walking helps a lot in altitude. Well, that is the scientific explanation, quite simple and plain.
My other hypothesis, which is much funnier, is that the community puts steroids in our food. Well, yes. How else to explain that young people here are capable of lifting pockets of turf hyper compacted on their backs!
Nathaniel, who is not yet built, is able to raise four bags at a time. Melissa, who is small and petite, can hold two. For all those who think it's easy, try keeping in up when you walk in tiny rugged trails. There are so many rocks and roots that it's almost impossible not to fall.
So I return to the fact that there is no other explanation except steroids. For those who say that it is the exercise, do not worry. If one asks me, I'll say that I have not taken anything in my life. Although I am not yet doing the Tour de France.
Now the next step is to be able to land properly without falling.
