claudia this was so beautiful to wake up to

also i have so many.  this is…long (i thought this wasn’t gonna take me super long but i have a lot of feelings about them)

bill cycles through insomnia and hypersomnia, the depressed bastard, but more often than not it’s insomnia. mike also sometimes can be prone to insomnia so they have a bottle of melotonin in the medicine cabinet.  it takes bill two hours after taking it for anything to happen and then he just stumbles through their house until he falls onto the bed feeling like he’s having an out of body experience, but mike usually just makes herbal tea and reads a book when he’s having trouble sleeping.  he doesn’t even really like drinking the tea, just holding it between his hands and he loves the scent it gives off (orange and cinnamon)

mike is used to waking up early from growing up on a farm, but as his life goes on, he sleeps in later and later, (late, meaning like. six thirty am.)

stan wakes up at five forty five every day, but usually doesn’t leave the bed until six (both mike and bill are excellent cuddlers and every day without fail, one or both of them will reach for him when he’s about to leave and mumble five more minutes against his skin, which leads to stan almost falling asleep again fifteen minutes later, at which point, he gets out of bed).  

bill has no discernible sleep schedule except during the summer, when that bitch clocks out at 11pm and wakes up at 8am the next day.  this is also his most productive time of year 

stan gets cold when he sleeps and will wear socks to bed when it’s really cold and also like. wears real pajamas.  (which are really only pajama pants and an oversized t-shirt, but still).  mike wears gym shorts to bed.  bill falls asleep in jeans regularly

bill has very vivid narrative-style dreams and will reach blindly over to grab his phone and types out everything he can remember once he wakes up in the notes section

a lot of times they don’t actually go to bed together, stan will already be asleep and bill will kiss mike on the temple, mumbles a “goodnight” and “love you” and climbs into the bed as mike finishes putting together an article and bill will sometimes sit at the kitchen table late at night with ginger chews and a notebook and his laptop and charger, while mike dozes on the couch and stan does a puzzle until he nudges mike to go to bed and follows shortly after.  

busy season for accounting for stan is a nightmare, but he mentally draws the line at getting less than 7 hrs a night, so he’ll attempt to slip into bed no later than eleven but it can turn into midnights and early hours quickly, and when he climbs into bed in between mike and bill, and listens to their breathing to fall asleep, he feels more grounded.  he makes up for it by taking vacation time during the summer, and he never sets his alarm during this time, and sleeps in for a whole week

mike loves watching bill and stan wake up, he loves how soft and unguarded they are in the early hours of the morning, when it’s just them, and on the off chance he’s up before the both of them, he’ll just sit there and enjoy the feeling of clean sheets and the sound of them breathing

bill is absolutely incoherent in the mornings (except during those iconic summer months).  says the oddest things while waking up.  once told stan angrily that he could not recite the french alphabet for him, with no context, and stan told him “great because i didn’t ask you to”

mike will make hot chocolate or coffee for bill depending on the hour and temperature outside

none of these bitches can see, and routinely during the early hours of the morning mix up their glasses, and will slam on the incorrect pair but their prescriptions all differ just enough, and have to sort through the correct ones.  stan has the worst eyesight out of all of them but will wear contacts most of the time, and mike and bill scrape by, bill has never figured out how to put in contacts and never will, and mike only really needs them for reading, but they end up on the bedside table anyways.  it’s an ordeal, and they really should just figure out how to create a system for it, but they don’t

bill uses one of those alarms that tells you how much time you have before the alarm goes off and every time it’s below five hours he loses a few years off his life and tries to finagle it so he gets at least six

it’s their first time going anywhere as a group with no supervision (17-18y)

Half meet at Bill’s and the other half meet at Mike’s

Rich, Stan, Eddie, and Bill load up his little car with their luggage and snacks

Richie djs for the drive, snaps a few pictures of Eddie when he falls asleep in a weird position

Bill laughs at their antics and Stan rolls his eyes and pretends he isn’t smiling

He also definitely isn’t holding Bill’s hand

Meanwhile Bev, Ben, and Mike pack up their luggage as well as the actual tent and supplies in Mike’s truck

Bev and Ben teach Mike weird road trip games

They accidentally get lost and have to call the others but it turns out alright

When they all meet up they greet each other like it had been a week instead of a day, a calm before the storm kind of moment

All hell breaks loose when they have to set up the tent, it takes a bit of arguing before they realized it was upside down and it goes a bit more smoothly after that

The tent is nice, they all pitched in to buy it, similar to the parts of the club house they built years ago

They all set up their places in a circle, their order already set without having to ask

After they go swimming, Bev being the first to dive

They have a camp fire and s’mores and just relax until they all slowly turn in

Ok in all seriousness I hate that he killed Sarah Essen because I loved her sm she was the best and didnt deserve to die!!!!!
