what clown are you guys talking about it 2017 was a coming of age comedy

going into 2026 with the same losers from 2017

Never ever ever read the book, not if you can help it. Why? (Edit- this is for people like me not used to horror books or those who immediately went to the book just because they saw the movies)

1. crazy heartbreaking - the losers all forget each other in the end. all of them. “i loved you all so much” yep and i started bawling. movies are safer.

2. kinda disgusting - aside from the pretty eh explicit descriptions, the language is kinda weird. i didn’t really care that much because it’s honestly funny.

3. distorts your perception of “some” losers- bill cheating with beverly on audra and never telling her again. beverly immediately taking it up with ben who also knows nothing. safe to say i hate billverly.

4. stephen king basically writes like “important thing blah blah blah… OH AND BEVERLY’S TIT-”like aren’t you supposed to be an adult, stephen?

because I can't fall asleep. all of these sentiments are mutually applicable btw

billverly: "I can show you that I'm scared, because you don't need me to be strong for you."

benverly: "It's easier to believe in myself because of the kindness you showed me."

kayverly: "It's okay to want more."

stanverly: "I would rather you ask me to help clean up than lie about the mess."

bevchie: "thank god I'm not the only messy slut here"

billdra (bill/audra): "I don't care, I want to know the real you."

hanbrough: "You get it. You'd die for them too."

stenbrough: "I'm sorry to do this. I'm sorry I'm not who you need me to be."

bichie: "I wish I was joking."

kaspbrough: "I promise, you're good enough for me."

stanlon: "You showed me that it's okay to be soft when the world tells you to be tough."

hanzier: "You'd never judge me for needing someone to hold onto."

kasplon: "You deserve to let go."

stozier: "thank you for not taking any of my bullshit seriously."

staspbrak: "Finally, someone with the right priorities."

stanpat: "I care too much to let you see my weak points."

Beverly & Ben (Benverly) is like a mix of Max and Eleven, who end up with an equivalent of Dustin.

And Bill & Beverly (Billverly) is essentially a bad version of Mike & Eleven (Mileven) made not to work.
