Backgrounds I Made for “Star and Moon: Uplift to New Heights ~ The Elevators Group Animatic”

These are backgrounds I made for “Star and Moon: Uplift to New Heights ~ The Elevators Group Animatic.” I helped with finalizing the design of the elevator’s interior along with @sara_vinso and @tengubeefjerky, and I was the one who designed the elevator’s exterior (the elevator’s doors, the elevator’s door frame, the elevator shaft, etc.). I’m also the one who designed and drew the backgrounds for all the floors the elevator goes to in the animatic (the Lobby Floor, the “Lower” Floor, Moon’s Floor, and Star’s Floor).

I really liked adding the values to these backgrounds, and I also liked showing how high the floors in the skyscraper were in the sky based on what was outside their windows. The lower floors’ windows show the tops of the cityscapes while the highest floors’ windows showed that they were above the clouds. :] You can watch the animatic here:

I made the character designs of Star and Moon for “Star and Moon: Uplift to New Heights ~ The Elevators Group Animatic.” This was my first time making a Character Turnaround and Facial Expressions Sheet like this before, and it was fun designing the characters! :D From the concept art I made, Star was likely going to have pink hair and Moon was likely going to have purple hair, but my group didn’t have time to add much color to the animatic.
