Here’s the DMV I designed & painted. It was interesting to try and make it sterile/drab while keeping it interesting to look at. Had some really cool cut in shots to play with too

Backgrounds I Made for “Star and Moon: Uplift to New Heights ~ The Elevators Group Animatic”

These are backgrounds I made for “Star and Moon: Uplift to New Heights ~ The Elevators Group Animatic.” I helped with finalizing the design of the elevator’s interior along with @sara_vinso and @tengubeefjerky, and I was the one who designed the elevator’s exterior (the elevator’s doors, the elevator’s door frame, the elevator shaft, etc.). I’m also the one who designed and drew the backgrounds for all the floors the elevator goes to in the animatic (the Lobby Floor, the “Lower” Floor, Moon’s Floor, and Star’s Floor).

I really liked adding the values to these backgrounds, and I also liked showing how high the floors in the skyscraper were in the sky based on what was outside their windows. The lower floors’ windows show the tops of the cityscapes while the highest floors’ windows showed that they were above the clouds. :] You can watch the animatic here: 

The closest I’ve ever been to a county fair was the Calgary Stampede eons ago, and though I’m sure it was close I don’t think it got nearly as extreme in its food as I see coming out of America. Are the hood of a cobra and the tail of a rattlesnake even parts of the animal you’d want to eat?
