Yesssss. Omg I haven't written for it yet, really, but its been haunting me since I came up with it.

Basically, after killing Solus Prime and being shunned by his peers, Megatronus Prime strikes up a deal with Alpha Trion to fix his mistakes. He's supposed to assist Alpha Trion in training Orion Pax as the vessel for Thirteen to come back.

So he becomes a miner, toils away down there for eons until he does what he has to do to become a pit fighter just waiting for this one twink to need his guidance. He knows what he's supposed to do. He understands the role he's supposed to play. He's got this. He'll make amends for his mistake.

But he wasn't counting on Orion Pax flirting with him. He wasn't counting on him reminding him of Solus. He wasn't counting on Orion Pax being so full of a lust for life. And it hurts because Megatronus knows that for Thirteen to be reborn, Orion Pax has to die. He wasn't counting on falling in love.

I dont remember exactly (it was yeeeaaaars ago at this point, I was in my early-mid twenties), but a poster here on tumblr made a point that simply made it impossible to deny how wrong I was in my understanding of dysphoria and its requirement to be trans. I dont think they were talking to me directly. I remember the post talking about how transitioning will often lessen dysphoria, and for some, it goes away entirely. That really threw a wrench into my bigotry because i couldn't think my way out of it. If a person transitions, either with hormones, surgery, or whatever means works for them and the changes made makes their dysphoria go away, they are still trans. They never stop being trans just because they 'healed', which proved that the dysphoria part wasn't actually required at all, that it was something that some of us suffered and some of us healed from.

THAT IS THE REAL QUESTION!!! AAAAH WHAT IF THEY SWEEP EACH OTHER OFF THEIR FEET?! Just... a mutual tumble head first into each other's arms. Its so hard to choose because both dynamics are GREAT!

Picturing like, Orion Pax being a little selfish for once and going. "I think I'm in love with that rough and tumble gladiator rebel." and diving head first into courting without a second thought leaving megs over there like ??!!??!?!<3

But also Megatronus being like "Shit the archivist is kinda cute and he makes my spark do weird things. oops he's mine now." Amping up the flirting by 1000 and leaving Orion like !!!!!!!!!<3<3<3!! Is also freaking amazing. It really is hard for me to even choose which I like best because I've legit envisioned and written both scenarios. My two favorite Aus I've worked on are like that. In Two Sides to a Coin, Orion was definitely the sweeper. He pursued Megatronus after Megs convinced him it was okay to be selfish. Orion was like, "Okay, I want you." Megs was like '???wait no I'm terrible for you.' And Orion was like 'I don't care I'm being selfish."

Pre-war Megop is like... my bread and butter omg. I spend at least 3/4s of my day thinking about their pre war relationship, how they met, how they got close and then what came between them. Im most familiar with tfp, and i admit that probably most of my thoughts and opinions are based on fanon and headcanon, but its not like tfp really gave us much to go off of in the show, and the aligned books are stupid expensive.

Nonetheless I am absolutely OBSESSED with pre war megop. Its my favorite aspect of the ship to explore. I get stupid sad that they dont get a happily ever after what with the war and all coming between them. I love to explore how their prewar dynamic affects how both of them act during the war itself.

He absolutely betrays his family for Orion Pax. The whole plan to revive Thirteen is essentially is essentially fate, and the fate of Primes in general is tied to his resurrection. Thirteen comes back and fixes things, ushers in a new age, yadda yadda destiny and all that right?

YES but it really depends. In some cases, I think that Soundwave absolutely hates Orion Pax, sees him as a distraction in the way of his and Megatronus' goals for revolution. I mean, howd you feel if some high caste twink shows up and suddenly your leader is all 👀👀👀 instead of 🔥⚔️🔥⚔️🔥⚔️? So I think its funny to imagine Soundwave doing stuff to try and dissuade Orion from communicating with them, or even trying to get him in trouble. Like... sending him illegal gladiator memorabilia or letting it slip that hes smuggling info to the revolution.
