I like the focus on elven food in Spore War materials but I especially like the town near the capital thatβs just Elf Food Network if you squint

Im so tired, first week in and there is a war with some mushroom lady and she's destroying the city for who knows what reason, and now im stuck with the wish of a dying man to protect his baby on hopes he gets out. I can't keep the baby and help evacuate or fight but I cant give the baby to the agencey becuase their hands are already full and i cant risk the baby not reaching her dad again incase he is alive an-*STATIC*

The baby continues to cry, not understanding, it's hungry and cold, and scared. It does get slightly distracted by the wings on Canary's ears, though, and reaches to grab them
The man stumbles away from the mushrooms as they creep closer; there was just a small area of the roof not overtaken yet
-R (idk man, do u want Canary to have a kid?)
*Canary leans his head down to let the kid touch his wings while he looks through his bag, trying to find anything a baby could eat. Maybe he could ask his moss friend..*
The baby wakes up and starts to cry while Canary flies her away, not seeing her mom or dad. The man is left on the roof, maskless, as the mycelium creeps up the sides of the rooftop

*Canary panics again when the baby starts to cry, and when he finds a tree thats far out from the spores, he quickly perches on it, rocking the baby in his arms carefully*

"Help!" A scream comes from a bit away, on the roof of a building. It was a man, probably only in his 20's, holding a bundle of... something. The building was being overrun by the spores, almost to the roof already

*He says in a panic, reaching into his bag to put a mask on the man*
