Maybe the arthritis in my hands isn't that bad and I'm over inflating it in my head
*7 minutes into taking down the twists in my hair, my left hand starts to tingle then stings so bad I end up doubled over around it for a sec*
Me: I may finally make it an entire week without having to call out of work!
My roommate: *spends all night vacuuming near my bedroom door, manages to slam everything she picks up, projects as loudly as possible when talking to other roommates, I've learned I can't say anything when this happens because it'll either not do anything or it'll start a fight*
God fucking dammit.
aside from a headache i feel kinda good
what's the catch...?
why is asking for help the hardest thing to do?

Pharmacy BINGO
B - Put my Cymbalta in they system as a 3 month supply instead of the 1 year refill. For the second time. Again cannot find the actual script.
I - Still haven’t ordered the pharmacare covered brand of nabilone. Despite the owner promising they would switch after their fuck up.*
N - Did not have enough gabapentine or amytryptaline in stock on the 19th. Will order it right away and have it in Tuesday. Go in today (Thursday) and it isn’t in yet. Now it isn’t coming in until after my flight. The pills are stored in view and they have enough to fill my scripts there (I have
G - Did not read the: note on my file or the note on the pharmacy print out, or the notes on the top page of the thing they should scan. So they tried billing me even though those many notes explain my scripts are free until year end.*
O -
Will I get another dangerous to me pill in the middle of a pill bottle unexpectedly? Will they lose my personal information? ———————————————-
* Background: Earlier in the year the brand that pharmacare covered changed. When I noticed my next refill seemed off (over $1,000.00 was billed to my insurance plan offloading the full cost to them.
I asked about the change (because pharmacare was covering it in the past) and if there was a generic or covered version and told no.
I ended up maxing out my benefits plan. So started paying for the not covered medication out of pocket. I spent thousands on medication because of this. Each time I asked for a generic and told one doesn’t exist.
In September I found out there was a generic that was covered. Every time I go in I have to explain that to the staff.
** In January when they stop comping my medication I am switching pharmacies. I would have switched sooner.
Anxiously waiting for a specialist
... triggers more anxiety than any of my mental illnesses do on their own. I am legit sitting here trying to find ways and reasons to kill myself to get out of my appointment.
Dear <person behind me at the fare gates>, Thank you for your feedback that I should "just go". If only I thought of just going! If only the doctors and specialists thought of that. I am horrified that the OT and physiotherapist I worked with for over a year never thought about tell my body to "just go". The two different massage therapists I see certainly dropped that ball. And then you. You magnificent healer came into my life. Rather than being content to watch and wait you dug deep into your powers to try and heal me. I apologize for my tense body language sweet healer. Yesterday I met a heretic. A grifter. A snake oil salesman. But his aggressive approach was too much for my fragile body to handle. Thank you great healer. Because you words have saved me. For years I have gradually lost control of body part after body part as my immune system turned on me. First the connective tissue in my right hip and then my left. Quickly into my right ankle. Then into the fluid in my right knee joints. You haven't experienced pain until you've experienced a body part slowly dislocating as if you were on a rack. It is a special level of hell. The worst part is knowing that while my immune system rarely directly damages a joint this repetitive strain ends in osteoarthritis. Sweet healer you probably noticed that my right foot has already developed osteoarthritis. Or was it the stiffness as my muscles seize up? You keen eye must have alerted you. A less compassionate person would have never have noticed. Was it my calves? Or did you notice that the muscles are trapped seized and tense? My benevolent benefactor please don't keep these gifts to yourself.
