The later it gets into the school year the more I have to remind myself that I love my job. I love my job. I love my job. 

Congratulations and salutations, internet! Inevitably, your presence has been graced by my presence, here and now, because you sought me out as a fan, seeking to bring our lives a little bit closer by following me on social media. I, of course, am in absolute agreement with you and I can’t wait to speak with each and every one of you. Fortunately, I do have a little bit of down time, so don’t be shy; I am open to comments on my media, fan mail, and inquiries both anonymous and otherwise for the foreseeable future and I look forward to seeing all of your adoring faces in my replies.

It’s only Wednesday night, really? I just spent two hours completely swimming in an abnormal psych book and all I want is for it to be Friday and for me to have a bottle of red in my hand.

So... I got a dog. I know -- probably pretty irresponsible of me; I’m super busy 90% of the time, and I’ve got a lot on my plate -- but who’s to say that a little fluffy therapy hurt anyone?

Ophelia’s sanctuary would always be a library, but late at night, when the Hogwarts Library was closed, the astronomy tower was a decent second choice. She’d gotten there early enough to stake her claim, finding a secluded balcony she could set up shop, her trusty charmed bag stocked with more than enough books to keep her occupied for hours - long enough that all her roommates should be asleep before she snuck back into the dorm sometime in the early hours. She’d also stashed a few firewhiskeys and some snacks from the kitchen - enough for the makings of a small party when, in truth, Ophelia was really just as content being on her own. In fact, being alone was probably the one thing she was supremely good at...

“Hold up…I know you didn’t just eat the last reese’s cup!?”

“Ow-” she winced. “Ow, ow. That was a real punch” she mumbled, holding her nose. She heard the director yell cut and some people rushed over to her but she just brushed them off.
