If the citizens of Li had fanfic writers and shippers who were anything like us in the modern day, there would 100% be Jinshi/Loulan shippers in-universe after all those plays about the Moon Prince vanquishing Loulan. The citizens don't know much about Maomao's relation to Jinshi at the moment, but they certainly know Loulan. From their perspective, Jinshi/Loulan would be such an obvious enemies-to-lovers story.

One big anachronism here is the infrastructure of fanfiction since paper isn't cheap. Also, it is definitely hella mutinous to ship the imperial prince with a traitor to the nation, especially like this. But in the end, fanfiction finds a way.
