Goals, girl. Just goals.

Nope. I think that it supports my claim that just because some people follow the same career path their parents took and say their parent is their inspiration for that it doesn’t mean their parents are the only reason they’ve chosen that career path. The chance that they’re all lying is minuscule. Plus, there’s the fact that you don’t have people to back up your claims. That’s what makes me right.

If you truly think that there’s not a single person to back up my claim just because they’re not sitting in my back pocket, that says more about you than me. You enjoy your pre-law experience. You’ll be a good lawyer if you keep arguing like this.

Well I am on social media to socialize. That is true, but when the thing you’re talking about not liking is something that you have to do every day… I’d think that it’s far more productive to work on making sure that you never have to feel that way again.

Or people can be more okay with the fact that sometimes you have a bad day. Or a bad week. Or you have to remember that, due to other people’s actions, sometimes you need to remind yourself that what you’re doing is good. 

Girl I was worried about keeping up with these young kids but hey I am in my second act of life and loving it! Is it as fun as you thought?

Please. These young kids have nothing on those who are experienced. 

Except it literally does? Thats how you prove claims. Sounds to me like you lack both.

You think that just because someone says something, and can find other people to say the same thing, that makes them right? So no one could possibly be lying? Ever?

I wouldn’t hold on too tight to that hope. We are also the generation that thought that eating tide pods was a good idea.

See, you could’ve just let me think your generation could save the world. That was natural selection at its finest.

That’s the key. Stay out of trouble just enough. It’s a balance I am currently working on. But I don’t think that’s unique to me.

That’s sick. English was my favorite class in high school.

Anyone can find people to back up their claims. That doesn’t make them right. Do I lack the claims or the people to back them up?

You talk to them “on the daily.” Even if they’re casual acquaintances, there’s no guarantee that they’re unbiased in this professional study of yours.

How is a first account witness, more than one of them, actually, not the best argument?

A good argument, fine. The best? An unbiased argument is best. Your friends are not unbiased.

I have people I’m currently in college with who I talk to on the daily, yeah. If you’re gonna go making accusations you should be able to back them up.

“It’s true because I have friends who say so.” Not the best argument, counsel. 

My suggestion is taking a moment to sit down and re-evaluate where you are in your life and your career and compare it to your goals. If there is something that you want to change, a little brainstorming never hurt anyone. Of course, the dream is to have a job that you don’t ever have to feel that way about.

I’m sure you do. Keep killing the game, girl. I liked working with kids. It was always better than working with adults. I figured high school would be fun. Quite a few years later, here I am.
