This morning, I asked the cards "What are the next steps on my path?" I drew the 7 of Swords, the Fool and the Magician from The Slow Tarot. 💫 A thief makes away with the Swords, fleeing into the night. This card represents thievery and deception, mental tests and strategy. However, I see this card as the gathering of information so that I can think on how to proceed. Sometimes, this is best done under the cloak of night in the shadows 💫 The Fool leaps off of the cliff. He has taken the first step on a new cycle with mo worry about what the next step will be. He is only the now, the moment. He trusts in his innocence to shine as he takes his leap. His light will see him through. 💫 The Magician shines with magic. He has power over the four suits of the Tarot and also his spirit, mind, emotions and the worl that he creates. He is a unified mind, body and soul. This card is a reminder that I already have the power within me, I just have to embrace it. 💫 So the next steps on my path will bring the gathering of information before I start down a new path and embrace my magic. I had a vivid dream last night. I was riding on the bus and amongst all the other passengers, there were different me's at different points in my life. There was talk and chatter and joy. 💫 So this morning, I asked the cards "What was the dream trying to tell me? I drew the 6 of Cups, the Heart (Queen) of Pentacles and the Innovence (Page) of Swords from The Naked Heart Tarot. 💫 The Unicorn looks back into their past with joy. They are innocent and pure and remember only the moments of bliss and the nostalgia of childhood. This card is letting me know to be kind to others and to myself. I can't carry only the negativity of the past. There are also moments of joy tucked within. 💫 The Heart of Pentacles is the heart of the home. She is warm and kind and full of abundance and love. This card reminds me of my mother. Though the past was not perfect, she was a constant source of joy. This card also makes me realize that though hone was chaotic as a child, I've built a hone that is based on love. 💫 The Innocence of Swords cuts away at what he does not like with a childlike glee. He holds the innocence of mental clarity and he cuts through the illusion of his thoughts to reveal the truth of who he is. This card is asking me to dive deep and find the diamonda among the rough, the light that shines through the dark. 💫 What a deep reading today! This morning, I asked the cards "What do I focus on today?" I drew The Chariot, the 5 of Wands and the Hermit from The Shadowlands Tarot. 💫 Two giant spiders take their traveller on a journey. I always see a spiritual journey before me when I see the Chariot. Yet the rider is leading the spiders. He is in control of where he needs to go. I just need to embrace the journey. There is joy here. 💫 The 5 of Wands shows that there is conflict within. The horned beasts fight for dominance and control. My spirit is riled up but within this conflict, there is creativity here amongst the fire, there is light. Sometimes, we have to fight our way through to the other side of conflict. 💫 A ghost stands within a corner, basking in the light instead of the shadows. Yet even though he is visible, he stands alone in contemplation. This morning, I asked the cards "What do I focus on today?" I drew the 3, the 2 and the Ace of Stones (Pentacles) from The Wanderer's Tarot. 💫 Clearly I am in need of some grounding today. Thankfully, I won't have to do this alone. The 3 of Stones are growing underneath the ground, with only parts of them visible. They let their power flow beneath each step that I take, the stones growing and gestating beneath the ground. This card is asking me to let my power, to ground myself with the earth today. 💫 The 2 of Stones are asking me to find balance. I can do this with grounding. One stone has shaped itself into a star, reaching forth and shining outward. This is a card of union, a card of balance. This card is asking me to take a stone in each hand and ground myself to the earth, to really feel the balance that the earth brings to me. 💫 The Ace of Stones is growing out of the ground. Like a seed that has been planted, it has begun its growth. The stone marks the beginning of a new cycle for me, a new period of growth and abundance. New opportunities are going to springs forth. This morning, I asked the cards "What do I need to know?" I was moved to draw six cards from This Might Hurt Tarot. I drew The Devil, The Heirophant, 9 of Pentacles, 8 of Swords, 8 of Cups and the Lovers. 💫 What my eyes were drawn to first was the fact that the colours in the cards are the same in the Devil and the 8 of Swords, the Heirophant and the 8 of Cups has purple tones and the 9 of Pentacles and the Lovers compliment each other with warm and happy tones. 💫 I also noticed that the two rows show a journey of sorts: In the first row, negativity and addition give way to higher learning and spiritual development and expansion which will bring me plenty, abundance and wishes fulfilled. In the second row, I'm trapped inside a prison of my own making but leave it behind when I walk away from the emotional situation that isn't doing me any good. I am left in the end with love and a heart that is content. 💫 What strikes me in this card layout is that in the end, I need to walk away from negativity, fear and thoughts that won't do me any good. This morning, I asked the cards "What will I create today?" I drew the Devil, the 4 of Wands and the Daughter of Cups from The Wild Unknown. This seems to tell me more how I will create rather than what I will create. 💫 The Devil stands in the dark, tempting me with distractions and false words. He is the dark prince of self-doubt and deception. He is a sly master of the unsaid and tries to tempt me away from creating by telling me that I can't do it, that I'm not any good and there's no reason to bother. I can't listen to him and the self-doubt that he creates. 💫 Instead, I will turn towards the 4 of Wands. It is a card that is full of light that will banish the Devil back to the shadows. This card is love and light and a happy and healthy home made with love. I see a portal in this card, a light to step into the bathe myself with to chase away the darkness. What will happen when I step through? 💫 The Daughter of Cups has come back again for today. She is my guide for when I do decide to put brush to canvas or finger to keyboard. Her kindness and thoughtfulness will lead me forward. She looks into the waters and sees only the possibilities. She is kindness and generosity and I will embrace these traits today, 💫 I asked the Wild Unknown Animal Spirit deck "As I create, what part of my spirit do I need to embrace?" I drew the Spider. It is the very soul of creation. It creates gorgeous webs not because it wants to, but because it is driven to by a force from within. It lives to create, to spin the web, and it will be my guide as I create. 💫 Finally, I asked The Wild Unknown Archetypes "What facet of myself need to come forward as I create?" I drew Anima Mundi. This card is the soul of the world and all that is. It asks me to tend to the sacred details of my life, to embrace all of them. It tells me to accept all and reject none of the parts of myself that make up the whole. So when I create, I create with myself in its entirety. This morning, I drew The Queen of Swords and The Queen of Cups from the Wizards Tarot. Within these cards I see the mind and the emotions. 💫 I see a strong mind, able to cut through all of the noise and remain true to herself. She forges ahead with focus and intent. I also see balanced emotions. She looks at everything with emotional depth, she is a lover of all things, a wealth of kindness. 💫 These cards are a relief after the past couple of days. They symbolize a strong mind and balanced emotions. Anything is possible today.
