Kruset blomkålssvamp er en udmærket spisesvamp, som findes ved nåletræ. Svampen ikke så almindelig, og derfor bør man kun tage en del af svampen, hvis man finder en. På den måde er der chance for, at den kommer igen på samme lokation til næste efterår.
Findes august til oktober.
Cauliflower Fungus (Sparassis crispa)
The Cauliflower Fungus is an edible fungus found near pine and other coniferous trees. It is uncommon and thus, one should only take part of the fungus when coming across it. That way there is a better chance it reoccurs in the same location next autumn.
Found August through October.
Some of the wonderful edible mushrooms I picked recently in the Seattle area! From top to bottom, these are the Pacific Golden Chanterelle (Cantharellus formosus), Western Cauliflower Mushroom (Sparassis radicata), Orange Peel Fungus (Aleuria aurantia), and Phoenix/Lung Oyster (Pleurotus pulmonarius).
