Slowly but surely starting to think about mushrooms, I'm so jealous of people who get to forage for chanterelles during summer 😩

During our last walk through the forest, I was hoping to find some mushrooms. It seemed like all the conditions were perfect: a heavy rain had fallen, the sun was shining warmly... and yet not a single mushroom!😱🌦 Not even a toadstool had appeared, even though they always seem so undemanding when it comes to the weather.
So we kept walking for several hours. The forest was wonderful—beautiful, peaceful, and full of quiet charm. Even the army of mosquitoes couldn't spoil the mood. As usual, I left some food for the birds, and we turned toward home🐦
Then I happened to glance to the side and noticed tiny orange dots. Just a short distance from the forest path, an entire patch of chanterelles (lat. Cantharellus cibarius) had sprung up!🧡
Cantharellus cibarius)!🧡
