I can't believe that Goncharov passed the Bechdel test more times than Hamilton

Really wish I saw more posts about how vital Sofia is not only to Katya's evolution as a character but to her survival in general. She was the one that moved behind the scenes, gathered information, and stuck her neck out time and time again. I mean, that scene with Andrey? Fishing for all those secrets? She doesn't get a lot of screen time but Sofia still runs this plot.

why is no one talking about katya and sofia in the market. you expect me to see the two of them staring, at the strawberries, and then want me to be normal????????
