Star-Toed Fleegle Socks - VeryPink offers knitting patterns and video tutorials from Staci Perry. Short technique videos and longer pattern tutorials to take your knitting skills to the next level.
Excited to announce a new sock pattern today - Star-toed Fleegle! The toe starts as a tiny circle and the fleegle heel means no gap at the heel. Give it a try!
Inspiration: Squeezed Citrus Socks
How quick can we cast on these socks? The variegation of the yarn and the way Sarah combines twisted stitches, knits and purls creates a textural and visual interaction that brings excitement with each stitch without overwhelming you. The touch of cashmere adds warmth and softness for comfort, and the choice of stitches help to provide that much needed “snug fit”. Pick these socks up as part of your May 2019 Membership crate subscription by finding them in your included booklet or downloading them via the URL on your Table of Contents page.
Artisan Pop-Up: Done Roving
But wait, there’s more! This month’s Artisan Pop-Up has not one, but TWO awesome dyers involved. Done Roving joins us with eight stunning colorways of Frolicking Feet, their 100% Domestic Superwash Merino yarn that is raised, sheared, spun and dyed right here in the USA.
Gorgeous, right? Choose one, two, or more skeins and combine them into any project that cries for a fantastic fingering weight. With a whopping 480 yards per hefty oversized (113 grams) skein, these are a great addition to any sock or shawl knitting stash! Of course, you know we love socks, so we asked designer Chloé Fourtune-Ravard to create something special in the exclusive Autumn Bliss colorway Paula’s team designed just for this month’s theme.
Leaf Dance is an elegant sock option, with lacy leaves running the length of the foot and leg. It’s just enough interest to be fun without getting lost in a busier speckled yarn. This pattern is included for free in the booklet sent out to active Membership & Sock Membership subscribers, but you can also pick it up in Chloé’s Ravelry shop. Remember to redeem some of your points and get extra off of your order.
Join us in the Ravelry group, where we’ll be making projects with the pop-up shop yarns throughout the month of March!
I finished sock one! If you have any tips, PLEASE give them to me! This pattern didn’t really explain how to adjust for different sized feet. I realized I’ve done a slip stitch wrong, but did I do the Kirchner stitch right? Or picking up the correct stitches on the heel? It looks stretched. Also what do you do for legs? Like if I wanted to have them go up to the knee? I don’t know how to do that. Anyways, meow onto the other sock!

In my experience there are two types of Christmas celebrations: the over-the-top blown up yards Santas with an obscene amount of multi-colored lights brightening the night sky and the quiet single strand of soft white lights. These socks are the latter. They are quiet, subtle, and an homage to those of us that see Christmas as a time to reflect on the year – that would rather stay in with a…

Coffee Bean Socks
First we drink the coffee, then we knit the socks: Coffee Bean Socks
First we drink the coffee. Then, we knit the socks. Last week, Jac told you about our newest yarn obsession: The Society Of Caffeinated Knitters. I’ve wanted to do a sock club for ages, and it’s come together in the best possible way. Seriously, I am dying to tell you about some of the surprises we’ve lined up for the first few boxes. Listen, I swore to Jac I wouldn’t spoil it, but I feel like…

Okay, so before it got hot here I was working on a summer sock stock up. Here are the patterns (no order) http://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/gladys-5 http://jenniferdassau.com/2012/01/20/magickal-quidditch-socks/ http://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/woodpile-socks http://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/pixel-stitch-socks Yarn was mostly stash stuff. That was why I started making all of these-to get rid of my sock yarn. The quidditch socks were the most fun to work because of the slipped stitch pattern.
