OC Dynamics Month 2026
Day 3: Siblings
Characters: Ozbert F. Hendriks and Aditi Hendriks
Fandom: Grishaverse
Summary: Aditi tries to focus on reading one of her science books. Ozbert, as an older brother, annoys her in the process.
A/N: Ok so I was infromed that the main focus for these things are only for OCs so I'm trying to do that more. Hope you enjoy!!!
Aditi was enjoying herself by testing some of her own chemical reactions to use against others in battle in case the group ran out of bullets, lost their knives, and/or were too tired to use their powers.
Of course, that's when Ozbert decided to show up and start bugging her.
He originally was asking her if she wanted anything from the bakery since their dads were asking, but of course, he saw her reading one of her science books and decided to bug her by asking random things about her chemical potions.
“So what are all these things for anyway? And what are they supposed to do?” Oz questioned, leaning on her chalkboard, holding one of the potion bottles. Aditi looked over and took the bottle from him, “these are new chemicals I’m testing. They’re for if we get too tired or too injured in battle and need last minute resorts.”
”When have any of us been too tired to fight enemies?”
“Few times, but I can recall many of us being too injured to fight. For example, you getting injured by six Black Tips members.”
“Okay, that was because they caught me off guard. And I thought I told Isha not to say anything!” Ozbert said, leaning off the board and leaning over Aditi. She looked up at him with a slight smirk, “you said that to Isha. Not Kaz,” she laughed out loud when she saw him roll his eyes and loudly groan and went back to mixing the chemicals she laid out on the table. Aditi looked over the notes she took and picked up two small bottles.
"What do those two do?" Ozbert asked.
"We're about to find out," said Aditi as she poured the two chemicals into a beaker. With in a matter of seconds, the whole thing burst into flames, causing Aditi to scream and Ozbert to instinctively shove her out of the way and grab a bucket of water and pour it on the flames. The fire was gone in an instant, but doing so ruin some of the notes she had taken days prior. Aditi knew she should've been furious with him, as one would be, but she couldn't help but feel relieved that the fire was gone and thankful for Oz being there. He looked down and held out his hand, her taking it so he could pull her up, "well, that was an excellent way to die before you've 18. Thanks."
"No problem. See this is why I always bug you in case you start fires or something."
Aditi rolled her eyes at him with a smile on her face. "We both know that's because your boredom is too high to manage. C'mon, help me clean this up.
