"In the film, (The Year Without a Santa Claus,) Snow Miser controls the cold weather of the world. He shares a fierce rivalry with his brother, Heat Miser, and they often battle each other over control of the weather. During such a battle, Heat Miser shoots down a flying reindeer which was carrying two elves, Jingle and Jangle, who were trying to help get Santa back to good health so he could do his yearly Christmas deliveries. They land in South Town and quickly run into trouble with the law, as well as the mayor of South Town, who will only believe the elves to be who they are if they bring snow to the town.
