I’m really interested in where the line is re: when an SM should make the call for whether or not an actor should go on. Like, if the actor says they want to go on but we have the understudy/swing in the building and prepared, where is the line between letting the actor go on because they say they’re ok and the SM saying “no, I’m making the call that you shouldn’t perform.”
(And yes I am posting this on tumblr because while I do want other people’s opinions, there are a handful of people in the SM FB groups that make me want to pull my hair out every time I interact with them LMAO)
