i like smallidarlizzie a lot. i really like both possibilities where joel is aware jimmy isnt actually 'pathetic' and this is some sort of silly bit, and the one where seeing him interact with lizzie makes him realize jimmy is an actual person who is his equal (the latter specifically referancing empires)
