Poi, tecnicamente, dovrebbe tornare tutto più tranquillo.

Giuro che vi rispondo, abbiate pazienza…

alla fine abbiamo tutti una vita — la mia è abbastanza tragicomica.

Come avevo accennato, questi giorni sarebbero stati molto caotici.

Non ricordo più nemmeno come mi chiamo, lmao.

Tomorrow is the last day of chaos.

After that, technically, things should calm down.

I swear I’ll reply, please be patient…

we all have a life — mine is kind of tragicomic.

Like I said before, these days were meant to be chaotic.

So I may be the slowest replier in history!

Hmmm this is interesting and I have so many ideas.

1. Peaky Blinders - it has just finished on TV and I am devastated. The cheekbones a.k.a Tommy Shelby is just one of the characters I love. I actually have started writing a piece for him

2. Harry Potter - I joined this site originally to read for this universe. I got hooked on Draco, Sirius, Lupin and the Weasley twins. This could be an avenue I go down soon 😬

Simply put their project on the back burner. You should have several projects at a time.

Call them. Some people are not good with emails.

Give the implication that you are busy. If you seem available all the time then there’s no rush to reply.

Send polite follow up emails. (See the post about follow up emails!)

If you know this is a habit of the client, be sure to factor extra time into the time table.

Add a pause clause to your contracts. Add penalties and a deadline into your contract. If no reply between X time, then the project ends and a prorated amount will be charged. If you give them the freedom to respond when they want, you can’t be mad about them taking forever.

A feedback email is easy to forget. Add context. State you need feedback in order to continue forth with the project / the lack of feedback puts the project on hold.

Give them a due date for feedback based off the project timeline. Let them know that the timeline will change if you don’t receive feedback in time.

R: Are there any writers (fanfic or otherwise) you consider an influence?As I always credit, Quark was the first writer i read that drew me into imagining different OCs in the DA world and the options it opened for fic in this fandom. I also have to give my friend @subjct0 a mention, for writing non-stop and always making me feel guilty for what I haven’t written. And basically, anything i read is inspiration t me to write, and book or fic or story that influences me to create worlds that resonate with me and hopefully other people

I: Do you have a guilty pleasure in fic (reading or writing)?Erm, the only thing i feel a little guilty about it the fact i’ve been reading (and writing) SteveBucky fic again recently, rather than the FenHawke i should be writing. But other than that, i always share and reblog what i love reading so no guilty pleasures :)

O: How do you begin a story–with the plot, or the characters?Ooh difficult. But I guess since I write mostly fanfic, then I always have the characters there. To make it my story, I think I always start with making the plot something that grabs me.But then it’s the plot that always grabs me, the characters build themselves as I go.

N: Is there a fic you wish someone else would write (or finish) for you?I’m so cagey about all my endings, I couldn’t give them to anyone else to finish haha. Same with ideas i have actually. I’m a really bad sharer apparently. But any fic i’m following, I wish people would write and finish :P

A: How did you come up with the title to [insert fic]?For most of them, after 10 minutes staring at the empty title box, picking something that sounds like it’ll do. All Alone in the Moonlight for example is a line from Memory in Cats the musical. Because i was thinking something along the lines of night and moonlight and the song came into my head.In fact Touching the Horizon was the only one that had a name from some time earlier in the process. I don’t know where it came from except a phrase that popped into my head and I just thought…yes. I like it.
