Itβs a simple piece, but one I wanted to evoke the feeling of lonesome Poirot. We all love a good Poirot & Hastings dynamic, but for me, Poirot has a whole different vibe when heβs alone, that is truly unique to him and separates him from his predecessors and inspirations. Specifically the stories where heβs among a cast of complete strangers, and sometimes heβll come across an old friend like Ariadne Oliver, Colonel Race, Bouc or Superintendent Battle.
