I’m not very keen on rhato’s roy, but jason is my bicycle so he gets to have anyone <33 plus, their camaraderie is just too good… i really like roy as jason’s ride or die…

2. What are your favorite things about the ship?

That they’re best friends first then couple second! I love how in fics they always understood each other deeply and how to help the other accordingly…. Also i love scumbag roy with jaybin. Heh

3. Is there an unpopular opinion you have on your ship?

I honestly like them more as best buds instead of romantic relationship… but i do still like it at times c:

ITS JUST SO HOT… ALSO. ARKHAM KNIGHT… ITS JUST SO….😭😭😭😭😭 there’s like. This thing ive been thinking about jason using slade as bruce’s replacement while slade is using jason as dick’s replacement……….. GOD… itll be so toxic and angsty… but at the end of the day they actually fell in love with who they are….

THE MILLIONS UNPACKED DADDY ISSUES AND OTHER THINGS…. But yes. The daddy kink takes the cake for me. Bcs bruce is SO SHIT at treating jason that he starts to look for alternatives…….. and well, slade too is a shit father for that matter but like. In the bedroom, though?👀 and like, slade is just… very indulgent and calm when dealing with jay, you know? I love it so much….. thats his little kitten😮‍💨

I like it but generally would rather it was more frequently toxic and abusive and truly awful if we're talking about, you know, post Flashpoint. As for pre Flashpoint, I'll say that I don't vibe with it as much, at least not right now.

Also, I don't remember where I saw someone saying this, and I agree with it: Jason would despise some of things Slade has done. I'm talking about Tara specifically here. I can see Jason and Slade fitting into a relationship where it goes much better than anyone - including themselves - expected, and it all falls apart as Jason uncovers things that happened.

I like them as having this tenuous, competitive sometimes enemies and sometimes allies with benefits who see just too much of themselves in the other but also see themselves as extremely different and incompatible except for the bad idea sex that is awesome. They don't exactly like each other but there is a deep respect between them and admiration. Also a delicious thrill because they both see the other as dangerous.
