he's FLEXIBLE. he's acrobatic. he's VERY good with tech. why have i read so many fics and headcanons that act like this isn't true or underestimate these abilities of his?? he can be super big and still great at those things!! BRUCE is so why do we refuse to believe jason is/can be as well

additionally, jason being a lot bigger than bruce is a headcanon i see often from fans who use it to essentially make jason realize he's being an asshole to his poor sad dad who just wants his son back and who did no wrong ever because he's just grieving. don't you see how small he is, jason? you used to be smaller than him by so much and he protected you but now you're bigger than him so it's up to you to change for the better and start protecting him/going easy on him

a) try to attract or woo him back to their pack by essentially ‘looking past’ what he does, as they’re more concerned about him being by himself as an omega. giving him gifts like soft blankets and clothing, expensive jewelry, and so on. maybe even weapons, machinery and case intel. basically, holding back from treating him like a criminal because having their omega back with them is more important. (they absolutely still mess up by being invasive, not respecting boundaries, but it’s typical to familial behaviour)

b) recontextualise to fit him into some category of distressed omega with no pack socialisation lashing out and start regurgitating this whole spiel of ‘Jason this isn’t you’ before completely ignoring and violating his autonomy in even worse ways than canon because everyone’s so convinced he isn’t in his right mind so he needs to be scruffed, bitten, etc. into submission, and then locked in the manor or something. (he’s of perfectly rational and sound mind though.)

I say fix everything but I think Jason would find the former sequence of events patronising. anyways, I just love the idea of Jason Todd being an omega and that causing people (for better or for worse) to reframe his actions and behaviour. It would frustrate him to no end if his actions were minimised/not taken seriously/dismissed (you name it) just because of his secondary gender. something something him being viewed as hysterical <3

he's already seen as too emotional and hysterical in canon so him being an omega would absolutely make this worse.
