Ingredients: 1 pound pizza dough. 1/2 cup pizza sauce. 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese. 1/2 cup sliced pepperoni. 1/2 cup sliced bell peppers. 1/2 cup sliced onions. 1/2 cup sliced black olives. 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano. 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder. 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes optional. Olive oil for brushing. Fresh basil leaves for garnish.
Instructions: Warm your oven up to 425F 220C and grease a baking sheet or a rectangular pan. Prepare the baking sheet by rolling out the pizza dough into a rectangle that fits it. Then, move the rectangle to the prepared pan. Spread the pizza sauce out on the dough in a thin layer. Put half of the mozzarella cheese shreds on top of the sauce. On top of the cheese, put the pepperoni, bell peppers, onions, and black olives. Add the rest of the mozzarella cheese on top of the toppings. If you want, you can add red pepper flakes, garlic powder, and dried oregano to the cheese. To make a crust, fold over any extra dough that is hanging over the edges. For a golden look, brush olive oil on the crust. Place the pizza in an oven that has already been heated up. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes, or until the crust is golden and the cheese is bubbly and a little browned. Take it out of the oven and let it cool down for a few minutes before cutting it. Add fresh basil leaves on top and serve hot.
