I just did some strength exercises.
Nothing crazy, just about 20 reps of a simple ab exercise, 10 squats and some exercises for feet strength.
I used to do exercises like sit-ups and squats for the wrong reasons in my teens.
Then for years I didn't do anything like that because it was triggering for me.
Now I see, especially because of my chronic pain/illness/fatigue I should work to be healthier for me to feel better overall and for potential future children.
I should work on my strength!
I'm scared to overdo it of course because it can definitely set me back, making my pain and fatigue worse so I really should look for balance!
We'll see how this goes ☺️💪🏻
I got one of my all time favorite pieces of fitness equipment today through a stroke of pure luck and swift action. A Glute-Ham Developer (or GHD) machine!!! These things cost $500+ new most times. I paid $150 from a family off FB Marketplace!! Gotta love those rich white folks that don’t know the actual value of the things they sell (Seriously, dude didn’t know it’s worth and just threw out a number).
Anyways couldn’t wait to get it home and use it. Todays workout E3MOM: 10 front squats @ 235lbs and 10 GHD sit-ups for ten rounds. Made sure to not overdo it and get rhabdo. Haven’t done GHDs in quite some time.
Now I can finally work on getting my actual core and abs back ( shut up @riandawfatherr because I know you’re gonna say something lol)
