WIP Wednesday: Cast on a sweater for my DIL. I think it will be lovely, but the back is a lot of plain knitting. This hat for my daughter will mix it up a bit, and hopefully please my daughter.

Tadaaa!!
My 48X50inch first ever blanket!!
Not perfect, but beautifully chosen colors if I do say so myself 💙
It has been decided that this blanket, once intended to be teal and red for myself and my former significant other, is now to be a gift for someone who fell in love with it more than I did. 💜
Materials: Caron Simply soft yarn in Pagoda, Blue Mint, Robin's Egg, Orchid, Grape, and Purple.
Pattern: Caron Spectrum Afghan (download free here vv) https://www.yarnspirations.com/caron-spectrum-afghan/CAC0502-004179M.html
(please be advised I made a counting mistake when I started and each color only has 11 rows as their largest run to keep it consistent. If you follow the pattern and don't make the same mistake I did, your blanket will be larger!! 💙💜)
Row 71 of the scrap Basketweave Afghan.
My half-eaten 5mm hook on display (thanks Harley.)
I'm crocheting like a fiend, trying to distract myself from how shitty things currently are for me.
Hope you're all doing well and staying safe !!

TEST KNITTERS WANTED
This is a stash buster pattern, super quick, super cute, and super warm. It uses 3 strands as one to turn a medium weight yarn into a bulky one!
You can also make some really gorgeous color combinations, and you don’t necessarily need yarn that’s exactly the same weight.
Send me a PM if you’re interested in being a test knitter.
Row ?? of the scrap Basketweave Afghan.
It is getting ridiculously big. But I am to please, and pleasing means very large blankets.
Crocheting for the rest of my life in Quarantine Club.
Row 47 of the scrap Basketweave Afghan.
This color is called "Pagoda" ~oooh fancy.~
Anybody else (quickly) slowly losing it in quarantine ????
No problem. I'd rather be stir-crazy than sick/dead (entitled old people take note.)
Hope everyone is doing well!
