what? well poe does have a mansion in the city, apparently, and it can’t be too far of a commute from the agency because he visits to see ranpo often. fukuzawa has met poe but barely knows him personally and does not know how to feel about making him house a man that is a stranger.

ranpo‘s pretty confident it‘ll work out so he just lets ranpo arrange it. it can‘t go that bad if ranpo‘s sure of it.

sigma is called into fukuzawa‘s office after being released from hospital (was stabbed, has issues, needs to be tested and legally documented now that he‘s an agency employee)

absolute last thing he expects is his new boss telling him with a completely straight face that the only living accommodations they could arrange for him is living in the mansion of a guy he does not know and his racoon

he accepts because he has no other options and if the president was willing to arrange this for him, he can‘t disregard that effort. that doesn‘t stop it from being weird. the architecture and interior design doesn’t phase him at all; the sky casino was also pretty extravagant like that. its just that this guy is weird.

he lives in this mansion completely alone with his raccoon and has writing stations in every room. he has no issue accepting sigma into his house because he just Has rooms to spare even though no one uses them. apparently he‘s an introvert but sigma only sees him at breakfast and dinner without ever seeming to see him anywhere else like a ghost.

poe had to start putting napkins over his puzzles for ranpo because one time he left one open on a table and sigma got trapped in it. poe had to call ranpo and drive to the agency to get dazai to touch the book and now sigma‘s nervous in libraries
