It's been a while since I recorded myself playing one of my songs (or just playing the guitar and singing in general). I wanted to go back to one of the first songs I recorded for my album and I felt like He was a nice pick because it's the longest song on it, which in my mind makes it feel more important. Also, I really liked how it turned out in terms of moodiness.
My brother and his boyfriend told me it was too dark for them and I thought it was funny! I agree tho it's dark and that's why I like it. The lyrics are very important to me because, unbeknownst to me, I ended up singing about my relationship with myself.
