11. Do they have abilities that change at all when they’re feeling off? What about other things, like reflexes, energy, and mood?

Steve - No abilities (I’m interpreting that word as like characters with magic or powers), but as for everything else…. Mood would be very short. Like irritable I mean. Energy would go down for sure but he’s got to keep up with the kiddos and Robin’s energy so he fakes it till he makes it.

Eddie - Oh my god this man’s reflexes go out the fucking window and he gets very flustered and frustrated by it. Eddie is known for his chaotic good energy. Running Hellfire, Corroded Coffin, general “Freak of Hawkins” antics. When he’s not feeling well the energy level drops exponentially. Mood is cranky for sure.

14. What is their limit? How bad does it have to get for them to take a day off and stay home?

Steve - Oh babygorl…. I think y’all already know it takes a fucking lot to make Steve take a day off. I definitely feel like his parents are a big part of why he’s like that. I think his dad would have drilled into him at a young age that “sickness = weakness” and that “your competition isn’t taking a day off for the sniffles”. Bullshit like that. Plus Steve is such a hard worker and a protective mama bear like I think he personally believes he’s just too busy to ever take a day off. 🥺

Only write what you want to! Don’t let people pressure you into updating or changing plot ideas or even tweaking your characters. It’s your world!

For the love of god please use spell check/ a dictionary/ a beta reader. People are less likely to read something if they have to wade through errors (not saying you specifically, but it is something I see commonly with new writers)

READ WEBSITE TERMS OF SERVICE BEFORE YOU POST!! Look. Wattpad sucks, it has sucked, it will suck. But if you post smut on there and then get surprised when it’s taken down... bruh that’s on you.

Also: research and find out what sites are best for your fandom! Some of my fics do amazing on FFN. Some do amazing on AO3. Some do average on both. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ just depends on where your fandom is most active.

Write as little or as much as you want! Don’t feel that chapters have to be certain word counts.

And maybe start out with some one shots! That way it’s a one and done deal and helps you get used to the experience!

Do they tend to run hot or cold? When they have a fever, is it barely noticeable, or does their temperature skyrocket? 

Natasha tends to run on the cooler side. Her body temperature is a little lower than average most days. She’s usually always wearing some form of jacket too. When she has a fever, it’s barely noticeable. She never gets too hot, just warmer than normal with flushed cheeks. 

What are their “tells” when they’re not feeling their best? Do they sleep more or less? Do they become easily irritated, aggressive, snap at little things? Or do they withdraw and become quieter, cry at the drop of a hat, stay in the background? What’s the one surefire way that one of their loved ones would be able to tell that they’re sick?

Nat has a few “tells.” She’ll sleep longer than usual, let out her sneezes instead of stifling, shivering a lot. She also has a habit to snap a bit, becoming more irritated, though it’s never at you, it’s at herself. Natasha also tends to disappear a bit more; she’s harder to find when she’s not feeling well. There’s not really one surefire way to tell that she’s sick, it’s the combination of unstifled sneezes, sleeping in, clearing her throat, adding honey to her tea. 

Do they have some kind of ritual that they do when they’re not feeling great that helps? Does it help physically, or does it just make them feel better emotionally?

Honestly, I love them. They literally have breakfast in bed with their man being the meal. Humans could never. We don’t have the confidence! The pizzazz!

Although, if I’m being completely honest, I’d scream if I saw one in real life. They’re just so weird looking - like if Ichabod Crane was in Metamorphosis.

I love drinking water eating however I forget to do sometimes 😅
