- “your roots are growing out” you’d say every once in a while, noticing as you played with his hair. he’d mumble and feign indifference but he’d be sitting on the edge of the tub as you touched up his hair with bleach and a toothbrush at the end of the night, plastic bags tucked into the collar of his shirt and complaining: “avoid the scalp! it’s fucking burning me-“ “do you want me to do this or not? because i can leave you to do this on your own.” “…sorry. carry on.”

- the two of you share the trench coat in the moodboard ^^^ (you say you’re sharing but he says you’re stealing. agree to disagree)

- sick loves a fresh manicure. he may hesitate with forking over money for other things but as soon as you start complaining about your nails being grown out the money is ON THE TABLE. sometimes he gets the hint if you’re being extra nice to him: being extra attentive, asking about his day, helping his coat off at the door. he’d just squint suspiciously and say “nails?”

- sick is the worst cook in the world. before the two of you started dating he lived off of tinned food or takeaway. you try to have cooking dates every once in a while which ends up with the kitchen full of smoke, burnt pans smouldering in the sink and the two of you giggling over your favourite plate of noodles at the nearby restaurant

- couple’s trip to london?????? picnics in the grass in hyde park, food at seven dials, playing hide and seek at the v&a????

- he’s got a scratched, warped record collection the two of you blast in the middle of the night and dance to in the living room

- modern!sick’s friends teased him relentlessly when they saw his name on your phone was “sicky 💕” and they called him sicky in annoyingly sweet voices for about a week so now his name in your phone is “Simon David Williamson” (he went into your phone to change it while you were in the shower and you couldn’t be bothered to change it back)
