An old OC of mine updated! Khosodmaa is an Amur Leopard hunter proficient in archery and wrestling. She is known for not needing arrows to bring the thunder, as merely drawing her bow and releasing it can shoot out a compressed shockwave that can crack bone from a distance easily.
After years and decades of war between Human and Charr, peace is finally in sight. The treaty is signed, even though separatists are actively trying to sabotage the unstable times. Flame rejoined the High Legions and the White Mantle is in shambles.
And a new story emerges. A children's tale of a little girl, named Molly, that went too deep into the woods one day and lost her way. When night fell and her little heart was full of horror, tears streaming down her face, she met a monster in the darkest part of the forest.
At first in shock, her heart pounding, she took a step closer and noticed that the monster was hurt. She had to do something! Tearing pieces off her dress, bandaging wounds, she didnt notice the shadows behind her. Only when they spoke, she flinched. "What are you doing to that monster?", they asked. "Step away, we have to kill it." "But the bear is hurt!", Molly said, "I need to help!". The men in the shadows lifted their weapons. "Then you are no better than them", they decided, "and we will treat you as such." Iron and steel glistened in the last light of the day when the men attacked. But suddenly, the monster stood up! It turned to the men, layed a big paw on Molly's shoulder, and whispered "Close your eyes." Molly followed the beast's advice, but through her eyelids she could see bright orange fire roaring over her head, and felt the heat of the flames on her face. She heard screaming, cries of men being incinerated where they stood, then the cracking of bones, and finally only the rustling leaves in the trees. She felt her bear carefully lifting her up, then the cold evening wind when they ran through the woods, but she did not dare open her eyes again. "Thank you, little human", the golden beast whispered, "the wounds were not deep, but i appreciate the kindness, and i returned the favor. We will part ways, and hopefully, for your sake, never meet again." Molly answered: "Even if you take me back to the village, there is no one there waiting for me. My mother died two years ago in the flames of war, and my father burned today. Take me with you, Mister Bear, please." The legionnaire flinched when he heard the words. But he heard the girl, and took her to his own family And then to the gatherings, and to the signing of the treaty, and together they went and fought against a war.
