(Sound on for #shopsounds! 🔈😃) I feel like I’ve finally reached a functional level of sharpening and honing so I can actually use a hand plane as it was meant to be used. So I’m putting in some practice smoothing out this ambrosia maple countertop. This will be the drop leaf top to the cash wrap I’ve been working on. More on that later, made some good progress today. These are much larger projects than I’m used to doing in the shop. I’ll do a “state of the shop” later to show you how crowded it is.
