The kitchen renovation is essentially done as far as painting is concerned. This @fujisprayofficial MiniMite 4 with 9600-G-XPC gravity gun has been the workhorse. Hands down easy to use and the quality is beyond my expectation. Realized I didn’t share a decent after shot of the splines cut on these hexagon shelves. With the briarsmoke stain applied, it makes it more subtle. This deck has seen better days. Why it was painted blue by the previous people I’ll never understand (because it’s slippery as F when it’s wet). We hope to replace it this year and working on some logistics and a possible collaboration with a well known IG “personality”. Really enjoy fixing something I have no clue about. Just did a little research and found a ton of videos online. The issue, a dead solenoid which meant this sprinkler zone stayed on anytime the water line was on. Replaced it in 5 min and it fixed the issue. This hexagon shelf is complete! Feels good to do a project for yourself or for @ladyguthrie :) Wood was reclaimed spruce from a company in Edmonton that shut down, and stain was @rustoleumca Briarsmoke which is the hotness right now I’ve been told. I’d say the splines worked well. One tip, id make sure you use a flat toothed blade so you don’t have that v cut in the wood.
