Kirisho in Paris
Hi all! I thought I'd write a little report of my experiences attending Kirisho's showcases and signing sessions at Japan Expo Paris (^-^)
First off, finally getting to see him live after eleven years of being a fan was just surreal... I don't even have the words to describe it. Whenever I dreamed about seeing him live it was always in a huge hall or stadium like I'd seen on the DVDs, not standing fourth row in front of a small stage (on Saturday) or having him walk right past me as he went into the crowd (on Sunday). It doesn't even feel real, but it was :o
The showcases were an absolute blast, he looked and sounded great and the atmosphere was super fun. Even people who were clearly just there for the con and barely knew who he was were going wild. Of course there were dedicated fans there, too, both Japanese and European. Probably the only thing I regret about the trip is that I was too shy to talk to many people, but everyone seemed to be having a great time (^-^)
Also, even though of course it would have been great to have the other members of Golden Bomber there as well, Kirisho's support members (Guitar: Noaka, bass: Yazawa Motoharu, drums: Hotaru-chan) did a great job, and their enthusiasm really added a lot.
Aside from getting to enjoy the showcases, what makes me happiest is that I was able to stand across from him at the signing table, thank him for coming, and tell him how much I enjoyed the performances. He thanked me and smiled at me. Kirisho smiled at me, guys. I can die happy now ;;
It was an amazing experience, and I'm so happy I got to go. I'll never forget it for as long as I live.

(After they performed Memeshikute the first time a staff member notified Kirisho that they still had ten minutes left, so he improvised and they played it again. On Sunday, they added Shin•Ikkyokume to make the setlist longer than originally announced.)
