first full color piece i'm posting of this character- meet Shitty Kitty!
this angsty ball of fur lives in Harmony Circle, a city state in post-united-states america. Harmony Circle, however, has a lot of issues. she's a cat anthro who lives with two aquaintances after she loses her job (again) and failing to pay rent (again). she wants to make music, but isn't very good at it.
Kitty C. Kitterson has good traits and bad traits- ultimately, she is a person, and the viewer isn't supposed to agree with all her ideals. she also happens to be a lesbian who lives with two other lesbians.
i have SO much WIP for this world. i would go on but this would be a really long post if i did
in terms of the medium itself, most of it is going to involve a LOT of fucking around with stylization and figuring out how to hand print my own comics. that being said, most full-color pieces are going to remain digital. the comic is planned to be in stark black and white ink, so i can print it out on paper, tack them onto linocuts, and print multiple copies of the pages that way.
this is also my pride piece for this year!
