Today I’m feeling a little bit villainess, and also on a bit of a nostalgia kick. So, I’m building the best henchwoman/evil sidekick in TV history, Shego from Kim Possible. Between her snarky one-liners and rad fighting skills, Shego steals the show in many of her appearances.

For her race, Shego was born a human, but hit by a radioactive meteorite that gave her superpowers. As such, we’ll say she’s a Variant Human. We’ll give her +1 DEX, +1 WIS, the Intimidation skill, and Elemental Adept feat with Fire damage.

Shego is an established Criminal for Deception and Stealth. Although Shego does have a degree in Child Psychology, she’s best known as a wanted criminal.

In terms of alignment, I’d file Shego under Neutral Evil, she’ll do whatever she feels like doing in the moment, even siding with Kim Possible when she hates the other villain enough.

MONK WAY OF THE ASCENDANT DRAGON

Shego’s glowing hands are described as energy or plasma, but functionally heat or melt metal it comes into contact with. As such, consider it Fire damage. As an Ascendant Dragon Monk, Shego can make her unarmed strikes deal Fire damage, as well as fire beams of Fire with her Breath of the Dragon feature. She also gets two skills from the Monk list, and we’ll give her Acrobatics and Athletics.

SORCERER DRACONIC BLOODLINE

I was considering making her a Thief Rogue. I even considered making her a Lore Bard to give her access to Cutting Words. But ultimately, I settled on Draconic Bloodline because it’s the best option for making Shego a dangerous force with her fire-damage spells.

FEATURES

Breath of the Dragon: As an attack action, make a 20 ft cone or 30 ft line of Fire damage. Creatures in the affected area must make a DEX saving throw or take 2d6 Fire Damage, or half as much on a success. When Shego has used all of her charges for this feature, she can use it further by spending 1 ki point. Deflect Missiles: Reduce ranged weapon attack damage by 1d10+13. If the damage becomes 0, spend 1 ki point to send the weapon attack back at the original creature. Draconic Disciple: Shego’s Unarmed Strikes deal Fire damage, and she can reroll a failed Intimidation or Persuasion check as a Reaction. Draconic Resilience: Shego gains 12 HP to her total, and her AC becomes 13+DEX. Dragon Ancestor: Shego knows Draconic and adds her Proficiency Bonus to Charisma checks made against Dragons. Elemental Affinity: Shego adds her CHA mod to Fire spell damage rolls. Evasion: Successful Dex saves reduce damage to 0. Extra Attack: Make two attacks as an action. Flexible Casting: Turn Sorcery Points into Spell Slots and vice versa. Flurry of Blows: Spend a ki point to make two unarmed strikes as a bonus action Ki: Shego has 8 Ki points she can spend on Monk features. Ki-Empowered Strike: Shego’s Unarmed Strikes count as magical. Magical Guidance: Spend a Sorcery Point to reroll a failed ability check. Martial Arts: Unarmed strikes deal 1d6 damage. Make an unarmed strike as a bonus action after making a weapon attack or unarmed strike with your action. Patient Defense: spend 1 ki point to Dodge as a bonus action. Slow Fall: Reduce fall damage by 40. Sorcery Points: Shego has 12 Sorcery Points to use on Metamagic. Step of the Wind: Spend 1 ki point to Dash or Disengage as a bonus action. Stillness of Mind: End a Charmed or Frightened effect on yourself as an action. Stunning Strike: Spend 1 ki point to force a CON saving throw. Creatures that fail are stunned until the next round. Unarmored Defense: Shego’s AC equals 10 + DEX + WIS. (unused) Unarmored Movement: Shego’s movement speed is 45 while not wearing armor Wings Unfurled: After using Step of the Wind, Shego has a flying speed of 45 feet. When all uses of Wings Unfurled have been used, Shego can spend a ki point to gain another use of it.

Okay so I religiously woke up every morning at like six o’clock to catch an episode of Kim Possible, and binged every single episode of the series back when you could do that sort of thing on Youtube.  I’m not the target demographic anymore, but I recently watched the live action remake (yes, I know) and wanted to share my thoughts.
