I just realized. Vinny is pretty outwardly nice right. Like yeah he gets into fights sometimes, but he's never super cruel to anyone's face. He doesn't tear apart relationships or get hostile or whatever. But in the background or when push comes to shove, ultimately he's willing to let someone die to save what's left, even though he will evidently regret it for the rest of his life, and its only sometimes within his control anyways. She gets into at least 3 or 4 fights of varying intensity with Michael in MLA0 and it is NOT a long series. She is actively and vocally stubborn, and does not easily work with other people. But when push came to shove, she REFUSED to rat Michael out. She literally lied to HABITs face, and when given tons of false information about Michael to turn her against him, she just said "you don't know him," over and over again. The same guy she just yelled at, the same guy she just told she didn't need, that "ruined her life".... she was willing to die to keep him alive despite everything that happened before. And she did this WHILE VINNY WAS THERE. Oh my god the parallels. I'm going to throw up.

because, vinny doesn't remember a damn thing as someone outside the loop. he has no idea who shaun is at this point in time, so shaun gets to stare into the face of the man who was forced to betray her and know that there is no closure, and nothing she does will actually make it better because time has reset, and the only person who is stuck with the memories, the trauma of the capture, the betrayal, the torture, the death, is her. all alone with nobody to talk to about it... except maybe patrick, but even then, would she trust ANYONE anymore after going through that? would she even tell him that she remembers?
