1. What would August do if Atticus needed a place to stay while Declan was still healing?

On one hand, he wouldn't want to abandon his brother, but I doubt Declan would feel safe living with another vampire, especially since he still doesn't fully trust August.

And given Declan's fear of persuasion, would Atticus being partially mute put him at ease?

2. Does Declan have any forms of entertainment available to him? Like books or television?

I imagine most of the movies, shows and books available in vampire territory would star vampires. Would this further complicate trying to find suitable entertainment for Declan? Or would he not care because the vampires on the television or in his books can't hurt him?

3. Can Lucas go anywhere during the day? Or is it too dangerous as a human in vampire territory?

I know he takes Declan outside in the new chapter, but does he ever feel cooped up knowing he can't safely go far from August's home.

Or does August live in the countryside where Lucas has a bit more privacy to wander around without being spotted?

1.August is so fiercely protective of his little brother and would love nothing more than to steal him away from the family home! He would never in a million years turn Atticus away in a time of need if he needed somewhere to stay, despite the friction it would cause with his family and the headache it would cause with Declan!  August knows that Atticus poses absolutely no threat to Declan, but it’s only natural that he would worry about how a traumatised, stranger-wary Declan would handle a new vampire in the house - the house that’s supposed to be his safe haven.  I think August would potentially try to keep them separate from one another, opposite ends of the house, and keep to their different sleeping schedules. But like you said, even if they did bump into one another, because Atticus is partially mute and naturally so awkward and reserved, he doesn’t really have that terrifying presence that would make Declan crumble with fear. That would go a long way in lowering Declan’s defences; he’d quickly realise that Atticus wouldn’t hurt a fly with a single interaction with him.

2. Entertainment is something I’m going to start touching on from next chapter!!!! (I am so damn excited!) August’s home is well-stocked with books, puzzles, tabletop games,  and a television! When Declan has regained some mobility, August also has a garden that is Lucas’ to tend to, and Lucas will definitely be recruiting Declan to help with some gardening in the sunshine! Lil spoiler maybe, but Lucas will eventually gift Declan a music player and some headphones <3 Declan will actively avoid and opt out of any media featuring vampires - he will aggressively seek out human-made TV, movies, books just to feel some semblance of normalcy and to feel human again! He’s had enough vampires to last a lifetime!
