i know star trek constantly forgets that vulcans don’t like physical contact bc they’re touch telepaths, but in this situation tuvok is dying and he knows it. he wants to say goodbye to his friend, but more importantly— he needs to put his katra somewhere safe until they can return to the alpha quadrant. and who else on the ship would he trust more to keep it safe?
ofc it doesn’t matter in the end bc they fix the ship and undo his death, but this is canon to me now and nothing can change my mind🥺
