I love drawing them in the simplified/cartoony style. I'm trying to practice my (semi)realism cuz imma study fine arts on college and I want to have the skills to Not Die™, but going back to my style is cool :D

It's my AU, so I'm giving them Spanish names because I am Spanish. Ok!? If you have a problem with that then I'll pipipi...

Shy but low-key freaky Tele and extrovert who thinks you can make friends by giving them a cool rock at 25 Antinous. Both of them are extremely focused while recording. They make lots of streams for the fans reading fanfiction and feeding the sharpwolf fans because they find it funny. Also, they kiss off-camera.

So, I made a bit more general lore for my modern AUs. Firstly, names:

Antinous → Andrés Ferrer Amat Telemachus → Teodoro Marín Tejedo Odysseus → Odilio Marín Varela Penelope → Tejedo Aguayo

Since I know nothing about modern Greece and the AUs already are super detached from the original source, they're set in Spain!! Just as a lil explanation for the people who live with different naming systems: people don't change their last names after marriage here, everyone is born with two last names, the father's first surname, and then the mom's surname by default.

Anyway, specific for this Bookstore AU, I'm just gonna copypaste what I said in the antimachus Discord server:

Andrés probably knows how to read since mandatory education, but he still buys children's books because he likes the art and also Dr. Seuss specifically because of the rhymes. Also, if we mix the Actors AU with this one, he def knows how to read because he reads scripts.

He's just really lazy when it comes to "real reading" (according to Teodoro, who judges Andrés a lot for his reading choices, nothing he read is "real writing", real writing being classic literature and poetry, and also listening to audiobooks and learning the story that way doesn't count).

He was so lazy, in fact, that he faked he couldn't read in middle school and got accidentally diagnosed with dyslexia. Even he thought he had it until he grew up and realized he could read perfectly fine and had no trouble with non-dyslexic fonts, and then got correctly diagnosed with ADHD.

Now, stealing the Amelia's headcanon made canon: Teo doesn't know that Andrés can't read at first, and is concerned for him so, when he comes in next time, Teo takes half an hour of his work shift to teach Andrés how to read. Andrés is too touched by Teo gesture to say anything and lets Teo continue their 'reading lessons', and they fall in love that way. (not including the marriage part cuz I don't like thinking about marriage)
