I'm ecstatic to announce a new Sonic Fanzine in the works, centered around our favorite steel scrapers of the franchise!

I'm hoping to get at LEAST a couple mods in each role :]

I missed Toxin, I missed him so much.

What's strange is that while I'm having a great little time redesigning old OCs and very, hyperspecific comfort characters (or rather their re-written AU versions) I feel no need to return to the canon characters as of yet. I still love them a lot but man, if ya take one look at my art from last year and the Sonictober of 2023 I drew PLENTY of em. I think my more original creations deserve a little lime-light.

Okay so I was on a wizard of Oz kick. Idk why, I'm not a wicked fan. But the story is perfect for Logan.

There's no place like home.

So besides the actual au I've written where Logan is Dorthy I also had this idea that isn't actually going to be in the story because it gives Logan mercy and I am not a merciful writer.

Basically Macaque had sent a shadow clone to take care of Kai from a far in "Sorry we had to leave you in another universe". And I headcannon it was the same for Mk as a kid because I want it, I know he was dead I don't care lol.

So he's done this for his son and his grand son it only makes sense that when Logan is taken he sends a shadow clone with him just incase the worst happens and it of course does.

But this isn't a shadow clone it's a straight up clone who actually loses Logan. Oops.

So the Macaque clone gets a job at a music shop owned by an old man, old man dies and Macaque is just living under his identity and owning the music store. Little baby Logan comes in one day while mommy is at the liquor store and Macaque instantly knows it his great grandson. So he talks to Logan who at this point doesn't know what music is and shows him music. And because Logans Moms suck he goes to the music shop alot.

Then when Lunia dies Logan is looking at the pages of the prophecy and his family tree when he sees Macaque. So he runs to the music shop and confronts him. Macaque tells him mostly everything.

Now this is all cannon to "This prophecy kept you away from me".

This will all be in the story.

But heres there the wizard of Oz comes in. In my idea Logan was going to start spending alot of time at the music shop, so much so that Macaque should have just adopted him. And one night after dinner they watch the Wizard of Oz and logans just breaks down because there's no place like home. And he's never been home.

So for his birthday and every birthday after that until he goes home to ninjago Macaque would buy Logan ruby red high tops. And Logan would wear them every single day (because he didn't have any other shoes) ans whenever he missed his dads and wanted to go home to ninjago he would click his heels and tell himself there's no place like home.

Now I love this idea. But I need Macaque to have distance with Logan. Because Logan is supposed to feel this unbearable loneliness and that's what's going to make the reunion so dramatic and emotional.

So yeah this won't be in "This prophecy kept you away from me" but it's a cool idea that I love.
