Most commonly worn in the Agder region, south-west region of Norway. They are sadly going out of fashion so it's harder to find photos on it. However in the Setesdal region they are more common. I will post about the Setesdal hairstyle too:)

Ellen Fischer (August 7, 1889 - 1966) was a Danish artist who trained at the Royal Academy and at private art schools in Paris. She was influenced by the colorism of Bonnard, Pisarro and Cezanne - and met Diego Rivera and many other artists, including her future husband, the sculptor Adam Fischer.
