My top tip for even-tensioned floats in colourwork knitting:

🧶 Knit your colourwork inside out - especially on small-circumference projects like socks or, as shown here, mittens.

A lot of people get confused by this tip and think they have to purl the whole project instead. Not at all! Simply turn your work inside out and knit as normal.

The only difference is that you are now knitting on the inside of the tube rather than the outside.

You won’t be able to admire your work as you go (which is a little frustrating, I know!), but - believe me - it will work wonders for the tension of your floats.

Yessss, it is fun because both Mittens and Chairiel are very extroverted while Yule is a lot more shy and introverted qwq She tends to shy away from more socially demanding events and her wives love her and understand if she just wants to stay home and chilling with the family 🥺

She's more of a stay inside cuddling with the wives and making making ice cream for Pail and herself 💛💛💛

Mittens and Yule both have a passion for cooking but also the fire and ice dichotomy as well :) I feel she'd enjoy a quiet restaurant date

Chairiel is very fun because she has narcolepsy but is simultanously very socially energetic and generally very quirky and goofy, quick to saying some omminous lore and fall asleep in the middle of it 😊 As long as she feels safe and that she can be around them and know if she falls asleep again, she won't be left alone

Unlike the others, she can't actually eat, but she loves being in their company regardless

Mittens is the youngest of the polycule but still an energetic busy bee, she doesn't always know how to deal with simpler dates, however, as a chronic "I need to fix and everyone and keep the peace 24/7 or else everyone will etart killing each other and it's because I wasn't there !!!!"

yule and chairiel know this about her and will usually try to help her with that anxiety. Mittens doesn't getthe chsnce to do relax akll that often
