Like, Rey was abandoned as a child and all she had ever wanted is for someone to come back for her, and Finn does!! He ditches his plans to hide in the outer rim to save her, and overcomes his fear of the empire and joins the resistance. Finn says Rey looked at him like no one ever had, which inspired him to actually become the ‘resistance hero’ she thought he was! They only knew eachother like a day but were inexplicable bonded and just wanted to protect one another.

After all he didn't decide to go to Luke's academy, Leia decided that for him. Then once there Luke made the decision for Ben that he was doomed for the darkside and raised that light saber against him. Snoke who basically mind rapped Ben his whole life manipulated Ben's decision to become Kylo Ren.

And after Luke and Leia failed Ben they wrote off their part in his fall saying he had too much Vader in him.

So yeah Ben Solo didn't really get a say in his choice to become Kylo Ren. That's why Kylo Ren had to be the one to return to Ben Solo on his own.

I get all that and that's why Rey left him but at the same time I also want an AU of where Rey dragged Kylo with her while he was still knocked out.

I want the hilarious situations of Kylo being forced to interact with potential childhood friend turned enemy Poe, feral Rose, and a former Stormtrooper now rebel Finn.

Every interaction between Poe and Kylo is tense with awkardness. Both still have small habbits that the other recognizes but too much has happened for either of them to say anything. Finally one day Poe comes back from a mission hurt, but he's trying to hide it. Kylo rolls his eyes and says "Your lying face still sucks. Do you want me to heal you so you stop looking constipated?"

Rose has the taser at the ready but she trusts Rey's judgment. It takes an offer from Kylo to tase him and some impressive smuggler skill for Rose to warm up to him.

Finn was the most intresting. With nothing to do and the areas he could be in limited Kylo wandered a lot in the forest near the border where Leia and Luke kept a force shield. Finn was often there too. Kylo offered to teach him the basics of controlling his force sensitivity.

Kylo, Leia, and Luke scream it out with one another. They force one another to acknowledge the pain they put their family through and eventually each one apologizes. Luke and Leia apologize first for their failures to Ben. Then when Kylo starts to take his steps back to Ben he apologizes to them too.

Kylo goes through his redemption journey and give others what Ben was denied, the freedom to choose.

The fabric I'm using is the sew classic linen look fabric solid in natural from Joann’s and the pattern I’m using is Butterick 6489, view D without the ruffle. First I cut out my pattern pieces. After everything was cutout I dyed the fabric.

Make sure you do test swatches before hand!!

I mixed Rit all purpose liquid dye in tan and Tulip fabric dye in yellow. My mixture was about 90% tan and 10% yellow, be careful with the yellow dye its very vibrant. I left the fabric in the dye for 5 minutes, if I redid it I would probably leave it in for 10 minutes. It dried lighter than I expected, but I ran out of dye and didn't want to buy more so we’re rolling with it.

I followed the pattern directions with the exception of extending the cuffs and the collar so it would fold over. Instead of buttons I used sew on snaps because Star Wars doesn’t like visible closures.

Ben Solo is sitting in the corner of the classroom at one of the high drawing desks eating an apple. He looks up in surprise as I enter and takes a bite. I can’t get rid of the feeling that I know him from somewhere. But where?

“Sorry… I thought it was empty.” No reply. “Is it okay if I sit in here too?”

His intense eyes regard me carefully. “It’s a free country.”

His voice is deep, gravelly, sensual almost. I… was not expecting that. I pick one of the desks almost directly across from him. He goes back to his work as I take out my schedule and club list, as well as a thick welcome packet Rose had given to me. It’s the first time today I’m able to sit and breathe and think. I let out a deep sigh. First days are the worst.

I feel a tingle on my skin like someone’s watching me and I look up only to see him look back down at his sketchbook. A strand of long black hair falls in front of his face and I catch myself wondering what it would feel like to brush it back.

What the hell, Niima? I look back down at my papers electing to ignore him. He probably just had one of those faces. Besides, if anything Rose said was true, I shouldn’t  trust this guy at all. It’s not trust, it's curiosity. Okay, well, then I shouldn’t be curious either. He’s bad enough to make funny, happy-go-lucky Poe Dameron go nuclear.
