They will always be my favorite trio. I will always be mad that the movies progressed how they did and we never got developed Finn as a Jedi, that Poe’s character was trashed and just everything with Kylo (Rey Palpatine? Never)

Star Wars: Rey/Finn/Poe | Rating: Teen & Up Audiences

Summary: 

The two finest pirate captains on the seven seas meet up in Poe Dameron's tavern to compare their exploits. (Everyone wins.)

I think this is the only poly ship on my list, though it's not the only poly ship I ship. This one is a bit closer to my heart than the others, as it's one of those that just zings throughout their canon, even if the writers didn't intend it.

Star Wars is one of the truest joys in my life, and JediStormPilot: Rey/Finn/Poe is the best thing to come out of the sequel trilogy.

There is a lot of tension between these three onscreen, from the near-instant bond between Finn and Poe, forged during their escape from the First Order to the way Finn sees Rey as someone he desperately wants to see again through almost the entirety of the The Last Jedi. The novelization of The Force Awakens added a meet-cute for Poe and Rey, whose initial meeting we, unfortunately, don't get to see during the film.

It's not until The Rise of Skywalker that we see the three of them interacting as a unit, and the chemistry is fizzy and sweet. The care these three have for each other--even as they bicker and grumble--is something palpable and real. Just look at the way they hug, holding hands even as they hold each other. Love is all over these three.

TL;DR: Poe Dameron in Star Wars-verse has been having dreams, and he is just really, REALLY tired in this one.

The “big reveal” story that the preceding stories in the series are actually just dreams Poe had — surprise! (?) Hence, why each story is fragmented as dreams are (think Inception), bits and pieces weaved into different settings/stories with a similarity in context you can’t quite put your finger on.

How it works: Each chapter correlates with each preceding story, ie. Chapter 1 with the first story, Bright Stars, so on so forth, after that they are free agents. Feel free to go back to read them as refreshers. But, the story still works without re-reading the previous stories; it should work without the back-and-forth.
