Bartylus who are both touch starved. Regulus was nearly never touched by his parents, never held or hugged maybe at most a tight arm on his shoulder. The only people who hugged him was Sirius and Narcissa and now that Sirius is gone and Narcissa married and stays in Malfoy manor no one in his family does.

In my dream world they’re one big polycule. NO they’re not just friends, I need them to want each other carnally.
Personally, I think deadflower (stars (regulus) are dying, killers (Barty) make things dead, lily is a flower = deadflower), stargazerlily (since Panda is a seer she gazes) are top tier and they should all date each other. Remus is their side piece though.
Point of post is I couldn’t care less about people having rarepairs, poly ships, or/and being a multishipper. The whole point of fandom is to be a total geek over fictional people, don’t limit everyone to one straight man x one straight woman. If you can’t respect people being fans in a different way from you then get out of fandom spaces, you don’t belong here.
Regulus and Barty met when they were 11, so Barty was all soft baby face and desperate for human connection because he was so sheltered and neglected as a kid
So even if Barty grows up and starts acting all sharp and wild and dyes his hair and gets piercings, Regulus is never intimidated or influenced
In his head, it’s just his Barty, trying to define himself beyond being his father’s son, trying to get a reaction out of the world
Barty isn’t a “bad influence” on Regulus because Regulus watches Barty “change” and knows it’s just him doing the same thing he’s always done
