be proud of all of your small victories. you only snoozed your alarm twice today instead seven times. you changed out of pyjamas and into actual clothes. you found a new song that makes you want to dance. you smiled at a stranger and they smiled back. life doesn’t have to be all about getting first place every time or always being the best. a win is still a win, no matter how small.
progress isn’t linear. even the smallest change is reason to hope.
had no energy to color this, but the comic being here is change enough.
Personal rant:
Today was hard. Felt old, poor, ugly, lazy, unhealthy, pathetic, boring. So, so dreadfully boring. So dreadfully bored. And I did it anyway. I got out of bed. I worked. I ate. I read. I left the house. I almost laughed. I tried to find beauty, and have not yet given up. Tomorrow will be a silly, light day. I will stay busy with small tasks. I will try to find beauty and not let myself be overwhelmed by mundane suffering. I will continue, and life will continue, in its way, to change.
Anyways, here’s a reminder to future me that I can feel pretty. Feast your eyes and weep.
The thing that is really hard, and really amazing, is giving up on being perfect and beginning the work of becoming yourself.

Trust your process ✨
When you make a post, you get notes. But you get them one at a time. Sometimes at the beginning it makes lots of notes!!! And then they dry up.
Sometimes its steady and then BLOWS UP, and then goes slow AND THEN BLOWS UP again.
Sometimes you forget about the post, and then it makes some notes and you’re like oh!
And I think,, people forget that that’s what life is like. And progress. You can be working on your self-hate, but it might be slow going AND THEN THERE’S A BREAK THROUGH!! and then it almost stops. And then you get three notes of “hmm, maybe love myself today”
So basically, its okay if your post or your progress doesn't get as big as you wanted right away. Sometimes it takes a bit, but then when you come back you realize that what you thought was a flop became a post with thousands of notes
